A hot, beautiful day in Providence, thousands of runners .. ran my intervals and had fun.

Poor Start but still fun
A little annoying at the start not being able to get into the gate. Plus it was really warm and standing in the sun with a 1000 people before the start was not enjoyable. Why do people get to the front just to walk and get in the way of people?
Other than that it was fun enjoyable day with lots to see along the way. Can't wait to see my time, hopefully they take the 3 mins it took me to cross the start time off my time.

CVS 5K
Well this was not as organized or laid out as it should have been. Too many people there to have portapotties located on the opposite end of where most started! And to those people who are NOT running the entire race - get in the BACK please. Every year I have to come to a complete stop because someone stops running, or starts walking! Frustrating to those of us who are trying to get a PR & finish! I don not know if I will do this one again next year - maybe 3 years is enough for me....

CVS 5K
It was very crowded this year and there was just not enough room where ever you went , either on the course or afterward. I just ran to run the race and that in itself was nice, but perhaps next year they should consider a new location that will better accommodate the growing numbers this race seems to draw.
Probably won't run next years race , but instead check out some of the smaller 5Ks.
