    Helvetia Half Marathon

Aid: Plenty of aid stations with one at everyone 1.5 miles or so. Water and HEED available at each.

Spectators: Not a whole lot of people watching along the course, but very understandable given that it went through the countryside. It was good to see people cheering when they were there.

Traffic: Traffic control was pretty good. There was one odd stretch when a woman drove *with* and alongside the runners when the only cars I had seen were being driven *against* the course.

Tees: Nice-looking Adidas tech shirts. Love the colors.

Restrooms: Seemed like there were long lines for the portable toilets near the start of the race, but the stadium restrooms had shorter lines. Also, there were a good number of portable toilets at each aid station.

Green: Race bibs are recyclable. Not sure what else to say here.

Course: Fairly hilly with lots of great scenery and far from boring. Loved it.

Awards: A nice medal and a free burger!

Misc: It was nice to have the race-timing chip embedded into the bib. No need to mess around with lacing up a chip or dealing with an ankle bracelet.
