Greetings Earthlings
With 3 days + to go I wanted to let you know how the morning will go.
8AM
Registration will open for both pre-registered (you) and day of race registrations (all the people you are going to bring with you). Registration will be inside Bertucci'...s Italian Restauarant at 6 Plaza Way.
If you don't know where that is (you should) you can check the directions on the website at http://www.manomartian.com There's a tab at the top of the page that will lead you to the page where directions can be found.
As you enter the restaurant you'll be greeted by a volunteer who will help find the right area to sign in. Bring a few extra dollars for the raffle. Your race entry will get you one chance in the draw but we'll be selling more tickets on the day of the race. Raffle prizes include an 32"LCD Flat Screen TV donated by Best Buy (retail $479), Boston Sports Team Memorabilia and many other prizes.
9:25 AM
The kid's fun run will be staged. This is a free run and will be held in front of the Bertucci's, near the tent. It's a 100 yard dash where everyone is a winner. All participants will receive medals. We will need to start this event promptly to ensure that we get the 5K off on time so don't be late!
9:50AM
Day of race registration will end. Please try to get to the starting line by 9:45am. There will some brief pre-race instructions that will help you to navigate the course safely and correctly. We will also have a special surprise at the starting line.
10AM
RUNNER'S READY!............GO! Off you go!
10:45AM until ???
In the tent: Bertucci's Buffet, Live Music, Awards, Raffle, Kid's Games, Post Race Massage, etc..
