    fluvial geomorphology helped me run a PR

    This race along the banks of the Schuylkill River means a mostly flat course, with no uphills until you rise from the river back up to the Art Museum.

    Lots of spectators for an 8k, and I think I remember two (2!) aid stations along the course.

    Race tees are non descript heathered gray preshrunk cotton. A little stiff. No medals for the 8k runners. I'm moving up to the half marathon next year so I can get a medal!
