Cinco De Mayo 5k Race at the Oceanfront
Great way to kick off the month of May. Ran it with a buddy from elementary school who was getting married later in the day. First race I'd ever run in my VFF's and I did pretty well. Not my fastest time for that distance but it was my fastest official 5k time so I guess you can consider it a PR on a technicality. Mel J also ran with us and turned in a personal best time. Overall it was a fantastic run on the boardwalk and an awesome start to the day.
