    Battleship NC Half Marathon

    Well supported event. Beautiful coarse. Brisk sunny weather. I enjoyed it. The military presence was encouraging. It was fun to run with those Army guys from Ft. Bragg for a while...even if they did outrun. Didn't see them after mile 6.

    Great Race

    Well organized event. It was nice to have use of the inside exhibit area of the Battleship while waiting for the race to start. The spectators were awesome. Wish there were more, but the ones that were there were loud and encouraging. The course is great. Nice elevation changes over the bridges and Greenfield Lake is not a flat pushover....some small rolling changes. (It's not like running down a beach boardwalk)
    Highly recommend it for a first race!
