  Race Report

  A very fun 5K with my 9 year-old son. This is definitely a Family Fun Run, not a 5K race. The course is very crowded and narrows in many spots, so it's impossible to move very quickly through it. But hey...where else can you run through Sleeping Beauty's castle and stop to take a picture with Buzz Lightyear on your 5K route? Shame on Disney for running out of medals halfway through. How do you explain to a 9 year-old that he and most of the other kids will have to wait for his medal in the mail while the adults who blasted through the course all got one. Not cool. In all, a fun day with my kiddo that could have been a bit better organized.
