The Camsur Experience!
After a 9-hour bus ride, I went straight to the starting line. Heart pounded hard & legs were heavy. Then the 1-minute countdown began with Linkin park’s “Somewhere I Belong”, a GRAND fireworks display over me started and it made all the hardwork, inspirations and send-off good lucks piled-up within.
The most MAGICAL start I ever had...
It was truly magical that I even beat Piolo’s 10km record. Problem is I'm doing a marathon so upon reaching 25km, I considered committing a DNF. The very good thing is that I was treated like a ROCK STAR.
Everyone and I mean each townsfolk throughout Camsur were clapping and cheering me on, showing their accolades as if I’m a celebrity. Crowds even took photos/videos of me!
I reached 30km marker at 3hrs and 05 mins so I felt, yeah, ok, I am still executing my plan… Then it came to 37km marker, 40km marker, then 41km marker (another thought of giving-up), and then the finish line....
Wonderful race, spectacular it is, one of the best races I ever had.
