Muddy Buddy - Nashville
That race kicked my arse...first and second legs were pretty simple, but that third leg had a downhill and an uphill that were both killer--the downhill was a battle not to slip on the freshly-saturated clay/mud, and the uphill was just an intense uphill battle. Legs 4 and 5 weren't too bad either, but after that middle leg, they actually seemed fairly easy. I ran legs 1, 3 and 5 and biked 2 and 4. We finished in about 80 minutes, give or take, which wasn't too bad considering there was some mandatory waiting for bikes to arrive and whatnot. Great race, and definitely plan on it again. Oh yeah...the mud pit at the end was a nice way to finish it off.
