Welcome to Wounded Warrior Half Marathon Start training now — and that’s an order! The inaugural Wounded Warrior Half Marathon event will be held Sunday, June 13, 2010, in Las Colinas, Texas. The event will honor our men and women of the military and help raise money for t...he Semper Fi Fund, which provides assistance to Marines and Sailors injured in post 9-11 combat, and ReserveAid, which gives financial support to Reserve Service Members from all branches of the military. In addition to the Wounded Warrior Half Marathon, there will also be a 10K and Military Mile Fun Run with plenty of excitement during and after the race events, including live music, food, drink and fun. The course start and finish will be around Williams Square with much of the race taking place on the beautiful Campion Trails. read more
