The 2010 version of the Run for the Oaks will be the 28th annual running of this event. Over 450 runners turned out on a cold rainy morning in 2009. Robert Mintz, Jr. won the race in 16:57. Brennan Liming won the women's title in 18:20. Mark Andrews (14:23) holds the course ma...rk for the men. Tara Wojcieckowski (16:58) holds the women’s course mark. The course starts and finishes at the City Market. There will be water at the start and finish plus a water stop at the ½-way point. Splits will be called each mile. The competitive entry will be issued a chip, will receive an official time and be eligible for awards. The recreational entry will not receive an official time. However, there will be a digital clock at the finish line where runners can see their finishing times. read more
