Great course, not so fun lines
I was excited for this race- my only chance to run over the Fremont Bridge! However, I should have been worried from the start... Saturday pick-up lines were long (I never have issues, even with the races for 20,000 people!)... clothing check took a long time (organization wasn't quite there)... the 10k started 15 minutes late... and then at the finish the lines for getting our clothing back, and the beer and food were outrageous. (We ended up skipping the food, and only got one beer each) Today we checked racecenter.com, and my husband's timing chip never got scanned at the finish. So, major bummer for the logistics... weather was nice, course was great, but the after party was a let down. Good volunteers along the course, good crowd. Think I'll pass on Terrapin Events again though... so many other races to choose from they need to step it up if they want to have events this large.

The lines for packet pick up were outrageous, and no organization! The area for the after-race party was not organized and lines were randomly formed and took forever... I was disappointed in that aspect. They should have had 2 locations for beer perhaps, and kept those lines far away from the food lines, or something... Not sure how I would have solved it, but I LOVED the course! Good race to run, and you have to love getting free beer and lunch, I just wish it would have been easier to access the good stuff after the race!
