Also known as "The Shortcut to the Capitol," the 12th Annual Medtronic TC 10 Mile race starts near the HHH Metrodome and shares the last seven miles of the marathon course, including the spectacular finish at the State Capitol.

    Awesome event!

    Okay, disclaimer here: I'm biased because I work for the title sponsor: Medtronic. But I've done this event two years in a row (and just signed up for my third year) and it is great every time. Since it is the same day as the Twin Cities marathon, there are lots of volunteers & spectators along the whole course and it is usually perfect running weather. One of my favorite events, for sure!

    I didn't get in! It was my first year trying. Hoping to see everyone next year. It is amazing to me how many people run this race and how many people don't get in.
