    Great Race, Just Watch the Last Two Miles

    For anyone who has not been to San Diego, this would be a great race to start with. The scenery is perfect as you start at historic Cabrillo Monument, run along the San Diego Bay, through downtown, and end up in beautiful Balboa Park.
    The event was well planned. There was more than adequate fuel stations (no gels since it is only a half, just water and sports drinks). People from the city were lined up throughout most of the race cheering you on.
    I will gladly run this race again next year but before I do, I plan on putting in some more hill training. The last couple miles you run north on Sixth Ave toward the park which is mostly up hill. But hey, flat races are boring, right?

    Why does the date say 2008? But there is not one listed for 2009? Anyone know what weekend it is this year??
