  The Silver Strand + Santa Ana Winds = Tough (but fun!)

  It just so happens that we are experiencing the Santa Ana winds right now in the San Diego area so that made for some hot, windy, and dry racing conditions. Races organized by KOZ Enterprises are always well put together, safe, fun, affordable, well staffed, and overall good experiences. I did not interact with the aid stations much since I was carrying my fuel belt. Post race nutrition was good though I think due to the heat, most bins were empty by the time a friend of mine crossed the finish line. The course was flat and fast and right along the San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean. What more can you ask for?
