Let me start saying that this was my first Night Group Run by Caprius Cross and I had no idea how the whole system worked. hehe I won't call it a race but a Fun Group Run, running with a group of runners behind a "Musical Car" (a car with huge speakers on the back of the car). The group was not allowed to pass the Musical Car, we all had to run behind it and stay in bundle, like a shoal of fishes. We were running in normal streets, with the cars having to stop for us to cross the streets. We passed by my place but my friend Nonato and I decided to finish the 7Km mark at Av. Beira Mar and come back walking home, it was already 10pm. Celio and Núbia continued the whole 12Km 380meters course. At one point of the run, a guy came next to me and said, "Cynara", I looked at him without recognizing and I asked who he was. He said, "Romulo Parente" (his name), and I couldn't believed my eyes! OMG, the last time I saw him was back in 1991 when I was dating his friend Halder. hahaha He changed quite a bit! It was nice seeing an old friend again. Anyway... We pretty much jogged in slow motion the whole course. It was like I was bouncing up and down on those trampolines. haha At another point of the run I literally walked and still could follow the group. LOL The run was different but I enjoyed it. Dom Luis --> Rua Tibúrcio Cavalcante --> Rua Deputado Moreira da Rocha --> Rua Carlos Vasconcelos --> Av. Historiador Raimundo Girão --> Av. Rui Barbosa --> Av. Beira Mar (on Km 7 is where my friend Nonato and I left the group to walk home) --> Av. Abolição --> Av. Expressa --> Av. Padre Antônio Tomás --> Av. Desembargador Moreira --> Rua Eduardo Garcia --> Av. Virgilio Távora --> Posto Cauípe (12.380Km).
