The Capital City Half Marathon Reviews (2)

It was rainy but that felt good since the temp was nice. I need to train on surfaces other than the nicely paved trail. My ITB bothered me quite a bit and I walked more than I wanted to. Oh, and I learned to wait in the line before the race for the restroom instead of thinking it would be quicker to at the first set of porta johns on the race track, cuz I wasn't the only one with that idea and I lost a lot of time there.

The rain that started around mile 10 was a welcome relief from the humidity. It was not a hot day, about 65 at the start, but the air was thick which we are not used to that time of the season.
