The set up was better this year, with the gear check closer to the finish line than the beer tent. Hard to believe so many people turn up for a 5 mile race. It was colder than a well digger's ass in the Klondike at midnight.

Well besides the weirdos who thought it was appropriate to walk thru the stampede of runners during the race it was fun. Cold, but I warmed up really fast. Before mile 1 I had taken off my hat and gloves already. I was hoping to come in under an hour but with the crowds it wasn't possible I think for me. I hate being slow!!

First time running the Shuffle, a very cool route through downtown, and the weather was a million times better than expected... My only minor complaint was other runners stopping in the middle of the road to walk... I swear I could have shaved a minute or two off of my time if I had more open space to run... Oh well, great experience overall..

Well organized for being its size. Not a fan of runners abruptly stopping to walk because it was very hard to maneuver through them and I ran into them multiple times. The finish line needs to be better organized with volunteers to move people along and out of the area. The Gatorade station was too close to the finish line and people were lingering around waiting for their friends or drinking. Go wait for your friends in the nice open park space, not right at the finish. It took 20 minutes to move out of the area which was not cool.
