Race recap 2011
Horrid starting corral...many people, including me, were forced to stand in ankle-deep swampy, muddy grass & start the race with heavy feet because they could only fit about half of the field into the corral. No mylar blankets at the end (and it raining the entire race. This was my 3rd year back in a row & I had no complaints about the first two. I also heard they ran out of shirts for those who were registered.

nice race.
the 10k course is boring, but perfect for running fast. It was a terrific day for the event, nice and cool so you could really go to town without overheating.
Since this is becoming part of the Cleveland/OH running scene, I need to share it. Runners are raising funds for the American Cancer Society. This event was the first, a handful of runners, myself included, raised over $8,000 for the ACS Determination campaign. It was a really touching experience to get to talk to the families of cancer patients and those who survived their fight with the disease. I hope some people will consider signing up in the future. Here are the OH events for 2010.
