Fast, flat course. Great bling and nice tech tees.

    Long Beach Marathon

Well, it wasn't my day to break 4 hours, BUT it was a really great day & an amazing weekend getaway for the hubby & I. He completed his 6th half-marathon & I completed my 5th marathon & ran straight into his arms--after he put my medal around my neck, of course. I started having knee pain at Mile 8, which started breaking me down until the wheels fell off at Mile 20. With Vegas in 7 weeks, I'm pumped to race for another sub-4:00 & in the meantime, I'm planning to do some progressive long runs & more marathon pace running.

    Great course!

This is probably my 2nd favorite race course aside from racing on the embankments. The weather and timing of this event is perfect. Most of the half is run on the beach or through downtown LBC. Course support was amazing with plenty of hydration stations. Med tents needed to be a little more closer for the half. A med tent at mile 9 is too far. Overall, I loved the view and flat, fast course.

    Well planned, great course.

Great course, the Long Beach and Surf City events are two of the most well organized Marathons I've participated in, I loved it!

PR'd and bested my previous full marathon time by almost 20 minutes!

Did anyone else notice their Garmin reported 645 feet elevation gain?

I'm considering the Half. I have just decided on my 2 Full Marathons for next year and will post them soon! But As far as the Bib. Maybe I still want it in the front for pictures but maybe I'll make a photocopy and wear one in the back too! ;)

@Israel - LOL, I think Eddie will be wearing his bib on the back for you. But you can wear yours on the back too, so I can find you easily. =)
