What is the weakest part of your game? How are you going to fix it?

I do not think white and pink will work for me. I prefer barefoot but.... Not this time of year.

Are those the same white/pink shoes I have? Mine must be defective. Maybe I need to ask for a refund :)

  11. #dailymission. Simple : The lack of motivation.

The money I spent signing up for a race is motivation enough for me to get out there. Always make it to the start line with the best training, even if it's not much, is something I try to stick to. Notice the work 'try'. Can't always give 100%, so I give what I have. :+)

I think that flexibility is overrated (some studies have found the best results from the least flexible runners), but there is a minimum baseline needed to help prevent injury. It's really more your "functional flexibility" or mobility that's important - which foam rolling helps far more than static stretching does. So this is a high-falutin' way of saying "nice job adjusting". I too get oohs and aahs over my lack of flexibility, though I scored better than feared on an active isolated stretching test.

For me, is my injury really healed? I ran a marathon and managed to get by injury free and ran a 5K 2 months later and STILL have a nagging "behind the knee" injury a year later that keeps coming back. The foam roller is amazing though! Hurts so good. :)

  20. #dailymission Weakest part of my game? I really can't run for crap. How do I plan on fixing it? Slip further into my delusion and buy cute running clothes to distract myself from reality.
