#dailymission SeaWorld San Diego is the location. It is a honey bee getting nectar from blooming flowers. The irony= I am psychologically allergic to bees (aka:totally afraid), but I don't have that fear with honey bees. Their purpose on the earth is so integral to our survival and I always feel that we under appreciate them...and many other basics on the earth. Love this mission!

#dailymission Me, my brother and Colleen before my first marathon in Philly. I considered using the after but it wasn't as pretty! I'm glad this was the mission of the day... my next one will be from MCM. I was thinking about dropping it but this reminds me of how awesome running a marathon is. Yay!!! :)

#dailymission Explain your current profile picture. When was it taken? It's me and my youngest daughter Annie who is an absolutely ham for the camera. It was taken on Father's Day in 2011. My oldest daughter, Nina, wants to be in my next profile picture. I need to update it.

It's my son and I riding our horse together for the first time! One day, I want to compete in an event called Endurance, and it's when you run cross country with your horse (you take turns between riding and actually running next to the horse). So, it's my inspiration for a goal in mind!

#dailymission My profile picture.. it was taken in March during our first family vacation in 5yrs. My bestest friend in the whole wide world, whom I met a loooooong time ago when we were in 5th Grade (YES 5th grade) now lives in Amsterdam... our families met up for the first time ever in the Caribbeans this Spring for a few days. She and I haven't seen each other for more than 20 years!!! She took this picture for me while I tried to look sexy and all. :)

#dailymission Me standing on home plate at Fenway Park in bare feet covered in dirt from the warning track after running a 9k. My 30th birthday present to myself. The shirt I'm wearing is an incredibly geeky reference to turning 30.

#dailymission This picture was just another ride on our local trail system this spring with my husband and a friend. But, it was a section of trail I'd never been on before. I almost chickened out of riding the rock pile that's right behind me in the photo, but I did it, and our friend got a picture of it.

#dailymission This was after the 2012 Shamrock Marathon, my 10th. We had just finished our Guiness World Record Attempt for the fastest time of 5 guys linked together. Great experience after being added last minute. Was the eldest and wanted to be sure I didn't let the group down. My second fastest effort, ever. 3:06:04.

#dailymission My profile picture was taken right after I finished the half marathon (my first) at the end of June. I slogged through some of it, but it was a worthwhile experience. I felt that I really pushed myself and I was really thrilled about completing it. My buddy came out to support me, and took the photo. The funny thing is that he got me into c25k, then never completed it.
