We get a lot of sunshine in the Calgary area during the summer months and it gets up into the 80s*F here. Unfortunately, when Shady and I go running, we are used to temperatures from 15*F - 60*F. Anything higher is a little much for us :)

Angeline and Christine, I'm so jealous. Here in Louisiana, even in the winter it's warm compared to other places. I love living in Louisiana, but I LOVE cold weather and wish we had it more often than we do.

#dailymission - Night runs. I already get up at 4:50am to get into the OR early enough, so morning runs aren't really an option. Besides, I LOVE running at night.

Everyone is different, so hard to give definite answer. The good thing is electrolytes are water soluble and excess get flushed from your body when you drink plenty of water. I usually try to get some electrolytes in 1/4 of my drinks on med hot days, 1/3 on hot, and 1/2 on really hot, all based on how much i'm sweating. I usually use Nuun, or Elete electrolyte add in, but many good ones out there. If i don't have any with me, then powerade ion is ok substitute i can get almost anywhere.

Lots of fluids. Cytomax for endurance and recovery. EmergenC to get that extra boost and recovery as needed. Pickle Juice for cramps during workout and persistent cramps at night. Rehydrate after workouts. Favorite recovery drink -- vanilla milkshake.

I'm not afraid to say I take many inside. Spring, fall, and winter have much more hospitable conditions.
