Too tired to workout. Not feeling it. What (or who) motivates you when you don't want to workout?

  1. #dailymission Looking at my race schedule. Or my dog. She always wants to go for a run. :)

      Mine is the driving desire for people to NOT ask me if I am pregnant again! Hate it when that happens.

  8. #dailymission what motivates me to work out when i dont want to is knowing where I have been and where I am now! I dont want to go back to that unhealthy lifestyle! THAT gets me out the door!

      I have said it a lot I know, but it's worth repeating. We are masters at pushing ourselves. It's obvious to everyone! That part is easy compared to exercising restraint when it's wise to rest. That is something I am now trying to master because failure to learn this is the only obstacle in the way of me reaching my #1 goal...finding out the absolute best I can be. Pushing, and only pushing, promises failure. You succeeded on Monday and Tuesday! Nice job Dan!! I hate injury too :P

      It is better to couch serf for a day or two than to be couch ridden for months because of an injury.

      swift kick in the ........... LOL ! No worries T. Somedays the body just knows how to tell you to take a break. What motivates me ? I think of the wounded warriors and what they have gone through. So my pains and complaints aren't so important.
