  4. #dailymission Mind- relaxes me and gives me time to think. Body- Gets me in shape. Spirit- the will to train and dedication to the sport.

    Running is 90% mental, and the other half is physical :)

      You're right! It has been proven through science that the mind tells the body what to do. That is why it is important to have a positive mind before and during a run. :)

    I use the body to bludgeon the mind into submission and let the spirit soar. Well that's the goal anyway. Then I can sleep as well.

    #1body (i have crappy metabolism and damn i look good when i'm doing what i'm supposed to),
    #2spirit (ahhhhh....),
    #3mind (usually braindead whilst running)

    They each greatly help the other one if needed.

  15. #dailymission - It's all my mind. Anybody's legs can be trained to run really far, but it's worth sh!t if your mind says "yeah, it's okay to quit" at mile 16.
