What is the one piece of advice you would give a couch potato who wants to lose weight and get fit?

      OK, I have to tell you, you have motivated *me*! It started with hearing you talk about your marathon plans on your podcast. I can't even finish C25K Week 3 yet, but I'm trying. And thank you for the motivation!

  10. #dailymission I can just tell them to do what I have done: Start C25K and join dailymile. These two things have be great motivations for me. 30 lbs down since I started!

      lol resist the urge!!! Drink a glass of water then you'll be fine :) They often say we mistake dehydration for hunger. Alot of times we can cut out that eating craving by just chugging down some H2O

      I find it hard to drink water at times. I have to make an effort to remember to drink it...thanks for the tip, I'll try that before I want to fill my hunger pains with something else!

      cutting back on sugar alone made me lose weight, and adding in exercise made me lose more. i still indulge from time to time, but nowhere near as much. my sweet tooth has been tamed; now to work on my salt addiction.

      Totally agree! It's a hard thing to do, especially without adding in chemicals to substitute for the sugar!

      I lost 120lbs within the last 5 years, step #1 was cutting sugar completely out, im a splenda girl since and i dont even have sugar in my house. thats a very good first step... altho your skinny mini and shouldnt need to loose any weight!
