What should you definitely not have done that turned out okay anyway?

  1. #dailymission Have you ever chosen a race because you looked at last year's results and thought, "Hey, I might actually get a chance at the podium (age group podium)?" I'm still... read more

Amber, I'm thinking about entering a 5K, but I have to get over my foot pain first. Next summer I REALLY want to do the sprint triathlon they have in McPherson. About 5 years ago I trained for the Salty Dog Triathlon, but they cancelled it due to rain! I'll let you know when I am serious about entering something, it would be great to have a compadre'. You do the same for me!

Gail, you can do it. Just keep the goal as finishing the race and having fun! We aren't trying to prove anything to anyone, but I think entering a race will keep us motivated to keep working out and doing our best! Go for it girl!

I like this one. I don't forget being young, dumb and poor. Remembering is what keeps you humble.

I think that you are amazing, Taryn...only an amazing person would be able to have a baby as a teenager and bring that baby up to be an amazing 17 year old like that. Having read a lot of your writing, of course, this comes as no surprise. Great job, Taryn.

Yes, I did. Everyone said don't get divorced. I don't think it was something I definitely should not have done, but I get the spirit of the question, I just rephrased it. Call it editing, I am a writer. :)
