In Honor of those fallen on 8/6

Everybody tries to run 30 mi . Since I set this up under who runs the mileage first, on the initial challenge, not everyone was able to complete the challenge. Here is another chance to honor them. 1 mile for each soul lost on their rescue mission. On 8/6/11, 30 Americans lost their life after coming to the aid of Army Rangers who were pinned down. The Americans included 22 SEALs, three Air Force combat controllers and a dog handler and his dog, as well as the flight crew. No matter your beliefs regarding the war, these were brave men who gave their lives for their Brothers. I'm a veteran and proud to have served. Let's honor those we have lost. Details »
