Our dailymiler of the week is coming to us from New Zealand, this week. Lisa E. is an athlete from Christchurch, New Zealand and I got a chance to throw a few questions at her from across the pacific.
Why did you start running?
I started running VERY slowly when I lived in London about 12 years ago. I started serious (hahah) running after a prolapsed disc in my back a few years ago.
What are you running goals?
My goals are to simply to keep strong, fit and sane until I am very old.
Do you have a coach?
I don’t have a coach but thanks to the supportive DM community I have a ‘virtual’ coach and swim coach.
What’s your favorite way to cross train?
Right now I’m enjoying cross-training with an indoor rower and my mountain bike.
What’s your favorite thing to do on dailymile?
My favourite thing to do on DM is to gain motivation and be inspired through people of all different levels and from different walks of life.
Where do you like to run in New Zealand?
I don’t get to do it very often but I love Hagley Park at any time of the year
